The traumatic time of a decedent's death does not negate the need to file Final Individual Income Tax Returns for the former loved one. In addition, estate planners might have previously made provisions for the decedent's Estate & various Pre-Death & After-Death Trusts, all of which need Income Tax Returns (Forms 1041) covering the Estate, Trusts and all Beneficiaries of the Estate & Trusts. Steve's on-going discussions, questions and conversations with his clients allow him to connect his clients with knowledgeable Estate Planning Attorneys who can competently assist his clients in drafting the Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Elder-Care Planning Documents necessary for a smooth transition of assets from one generation to another. Steven is also experienced and adept at handling the Income Tax & Court Documentation of Special Needs Trusts, established for the benefit of physically and/or mentally disabled beneficiaries.
"Steve Bienenfeld was my first and only call when my Aunt passed away. He immediately addressed the issues of my Aunt's final Personal Income Tax Return as well as the numerous Trust Returns she had established for herself, me & my three children. Steven expertly interacted with my Aunt's Co-Trustee and Financial Advisor, always keeping the best interests of my family foremost in his actions; in fact, he probably saved us thousands of dollars in potential taxes, penalties and interest!”
